Chelsea want to sign Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Chelsea have held talks with the representatives of the 22-year-old Ghana international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a right winger.
Kudus has two more years left on his contract at Ajax and is the subject of interest from a number of clubs in Europe. Chelsea have made the first move by reaching out to the 22-year-old’s agents and are confident that they will be able to convince him to move to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea, though, will have to fight off competition from Arsenal and Manchester United for Kudus. The Gunners and the Red Devils are reportedly following the situation of the Ajax star with interest. The youngster made 19 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for Ajax last season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in the process.
